New production centres are being created by the economic activities of transnational corporations. Urban Places are dramatically transformed and sometimes destroyed during that process. Large compounds are being built to store as many households as possible to supply cheap labour.
“We built this City” is a long-term art project about the impact of globalisation on city development and its consequences on urban lifestyle.
